I AM
Teresa,

a heartful yoga teacher, shake-the-dust dancer, singing bowl player, and curious explorer of life and creative expression. A while ago, I started saying yes to my inner creative calling. I left my career in the tech startup world, and I’m now studying as a dressmaker in Helsinki, Finland.

With BY TETERO, I bring my joy into the world of matter, shaping ideas and feelings into wearable forms. I create custom, made-to-measure clothing and wearable art with my hands and imagination, usually with the help of a crochet hook, a sewing machine, or a friend. I’ve explored many creative mediums over the years, letting curiosity guide me through sewing, knitting, crochet, weaving, beadwork, and beyond.

My creative process is guided by joy, play, and intuition. I love discovering new ways to make the unseen tangible, letting it take shape on paper, fabric, threads, textures, and colors. Every stitch, fold, and thread carries love and the joy of creation. That is the energy I put into everything I make.

My cats are my constant companions, teaching me play, rest, and the importance of stretching, and occasionally creating chaos among my pattern papers.
